KHULI CHANA & SHO MADJOZI SET TO TAKE THE AFRICAN CREATIVE REVOLUTION ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH TWO LEAD UP EVENTS AHEAD OF THE ONE SOURCE LIVE FESTIVAL

Khuli Chana and Sho Madjozi are set to go on a two city tour of South Africa to invite everyone to join the Creative Revolution and change how the world sees Africa ahead of the One Source Live Festival this March. Sho Madjozi will perform at the first Lead-up event in Durban, and will be joined by Khuli Chana a week later when she hits Jo’Burg.
The two events will be the first milestones in the creative revolution that is taking over the continent. Music lovers will get a first taste of what to expect at One Source Live when emerging creatives across music, fashion and art all come together to celebrate African creativity when the continent converges in Jo’burg for a unique experience. Chana and Madjozi will not stand alone as they spread the flames of the African creative movement. They will ascend the stage alongside a league of star DJs churning out electrifying grooves to ignite the revolution as it spreads across the country and the world.
DJ Voodoo will light up the night in both Durban and Jo’Burg with a host of local resident DJs who will hold up the musical flame when Madjozi arrives for the lead-up events.
This is also an opportunity for revellers to be the first to enjoy the newly crafted five ABSOLUT signature cocktails which will be served to honour the five revolutionaires – Khuli Chana, Sho Madjozi, Trevor Stuurman, Fabrice Monteiro and Osborne Macharia who carry the blue flame of African creativity across the continent and the world.
Lucky music and art lovers will stand a chance to win tickets to One Source Live which takes place on Saturday 24 March 2018.
- Durban revolutionaries will gather on Friday 23 February at Twenty5, 25 Silver Ave, Morningside, Durban.
- Jo’Burg revolutionaries will gather on Saturday 3 March at The Sands, 58, Wierda Rd E, Sandton, Johannesburg.
Doors at both venues will open at 9pm and entrance is free. Only persons older than 18 years will be allowed in. Doors will close once the venues have reached capacity.
One Source Live (OSL) will take place on Saturday 24 March in Johannesburg. The festival will bring together creative revolutionaries from across the continent for a spectacular collaborative event featuring music, art, photography, and fashion. These will include Khuli Chana (SA/Music), Sho Madjozi (SA/Music), Trevor Stuurman (SA/Fashion), Fabrice Monteiro (Senegal-Benin /Fashion, art) and Osborne Macharia (Kenya/ Photography).
OSL is a festival of African creativity that celebrates African creatives as superheroes to highlight the role and power of creatives in the transformation of societies.
